Isabelle's First Christmas Program

Isabelle was in her first Christmas program last night! We of course were one of those obnoxious families who arrive way too early in order to get front row seats. Hey, I'm not ashamed, somebody has to get there first! It also gave Isabelle plenty of time to try out the stage and hang with her friends.

Isabelle and Laney Madeleine was super excited to watch her big sister perform.
Kisses for good luck.
Checking out the Christmas tree.
Madeleine loves anything bright and shiny.
Getting settled in their places. Isabelle was so happy and excited!

Isabelle is also very good at reminding other children what to do. (Seen here giving a gentle physical prompt) :)

The children sang about 20 songs ranging from old classics such as "Away in a Manger" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" to new favorites like "God is Greater than the Bogey Man". We loooved the show and were so proud of Isabelle!
**Remember to pause the playlist at the bottom of the screen!**

After the performance there was a nice reception with cookies and juice. As we were rushing to leave the house on time Isabelle helpfully said, "It's okay Mommy, I don't have to eat dinner because Mrs. Facchini told me I would have plenty of dessert after the show." Somehow, in my Christmas-crazed mind that actually sounded rational.
