American Girl Birthday Party

Isabelle is turning 7 this Friday (gasp!) but she celebrated with her friends a few days early at the American Girl store.  I love putting on parties at home but I've got to say - it was pretty nice to just show up, party, and leave.  Plus, the girls had a GREAT time!

Isabelle and Madeleine pre-party.  Yes, my three-year-old is wearing make-up.  She had dance pictures right before this and loved the make-up so much she wanted to keep it on all day.  Why not?

Isabelle with her new doll, Marie-Grace.  She was so happy and surprised to get her first doll the night before her party.

Let's get this party started!

Crowning the birthday girl.

What a cute bunch of girls!

Each of the girls ordered a yummy lunch to go with their pink lemonade.

There was that awkward moment when the dolls were crucified - but no party is perfect.

Appetizers...

...presents...

...and cake!

Can you tell Maddy loved being part of the big girl group?

Yum!

Sweet...

...and sassy.

Love these adorable friends!

Such a pretty group of friends! Loved the pictures. My dad baked the cake just like this one on my 10th birthday, he is a sweetheart and he loves me a lot. He also decorated one of the Chicago venues like a fairyland for my birthday. I loved each and every girls outfit!
