Disappointing News
We heard from our caseworker today that we did not pass court last week and they are not yet sure why. It is very common to not pass the first time but we are still very sad about the news. We have a second court date scheduled for January 23rd, which seems like a long time from now. Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts!

I'm so sorry! What sad news... In reading some other blogs, it does seem to be common but it has to be really disappointing. Praying for the second date to go well!
I'm so sorry. I know how it feels, and I know Jan 23 seems so far away. It may not feel like it now, but it really will fly by. The holidays, then undecorating and getting organized and your court date will be here before you know it!! Enjoy Christmas -- it's the last one with your family the way it is now.
I'm sorry about the court date. Soon, that sweet little girl will be yours!!!!! Maybe you'll be going to get her during mid-winter break!!!!!

Such hard news to hear Aubrey. Know that we are all behind you with prayers.
I'm a friend of Rachel's and keep up with your story through her. I am so terribly sorry to hear this news. I'm sure your heart just aches. I'll be praying for the weeks to pass quickly and for wonderful news in January.
